HYPNOTHERAPY FOR

Phobias

A phobia is a common anxiety related disorder and can be debilitating, significantly impacting a person’s quality of life.  Conquering a phobia with solution focused hypnotherapy can literally be life changing.   A specific, non-complex phobia is where every other aspect of a person’s life is normal, except for one element that creates a disproportionate fear response and which is preventing them from doing something they really want or need to do e.g., fear of flying, needles or injections, dentist appointments, spiders.  Most specific phobias require just three sessions following an initial consultation, and these sessions include powerful rewind and reframe hypnotherapy techniques.  Due to being an anxiety disorder, a client seeking help with a specific phobia may find that stress and anxiety are affecting other areas of their life, and they may require an extra session or two before commencing the rewind and reframe sessions – this will be discussed during the initial consultation appointment.

Using hypnotherapy to overcome these problems is a swift and gentle process. It gives IBS sufferers the freedom to feel comfortable in all situations. Hypnotherapy is recommended by the NHS in its National Institute of Health and Care excellence (NICE) guidelines.
